We’ve extended our pop-up campsite season
We’re so excited about our pop-up campsite season at Cole Farm this year that we’ve decided to stay popped up for longer! It means more nights under canvas, more campfires, more marshmallows and more time to enjoy the great outdoors. Our new extended pop-up season for 2019 will run for seven weeks from Friday, July 26 to Sunday, September 15. That means we’ll be welcoming campers throughout the entire school summer holidays and for two weekends after. We can’t wait and we hope you’ll want to join us.
September camping
While the British weather is never predictable, we think late summer can be a lovely time to camp. Down here in Kent we can have beautiful sunsets in September and the location of our pop-up campsite at Cole Farm gives a great vantage point to watch them from. Once the sun has gone down, evenings can be chilly – but that’s when our policy of allowing campfires comes in to its own. And, as kids go back to school in the first week of September, it can be a great time for couples or groups of adults to come camping – especially on those quieter week days. We’d love to hear from any groups who want to take advantage of this time.
Free membership to our new camping club
We’ve also just formed our own Pete’s Field Camping Club – which we’re inviting all campers to join. As a club we aim to promote camping, the natural environment and this corner of Kent. Membership is free and sign-up is very simple. Book a pitch or bell tent with us and you will be a temporary member of Pete’s Field Camping Club or sign up to become a permanent member and you’ll be among the first to hear our news and special offers. Membership (temporary or permanent) means you agree to follow our campsite rules. You can read all about these within our Terms and Conditions.
