We’ve teamed up with another small local business, Paddlesworth Produce, to bring quality, local ingredients to your tent. When you book a camping trip with us, you’ll have the option to add a Paddlesworth Produce Breakfast Box or a Paddlesworth Produce Barbecue Box.
Campsite cooking ideas for the morning – The Kent Breakfast Box
The Kent Breakfast Box is available for two or for a family of four. The smaller size contains four eggs, four rashers of bacon, four sausages, a loaf of bread and a jar of jam. The family box – contains a large loaf of bread and double the other ingredients. It’s the perfect package of items for a delicious (and generously-sized) breakfast to cook on the campfire. The box for two delivered to site is £17, the family-sized box is a bargain at £24.
Campsite cooking ideas for dinner – The Kent BBQ Box
The Paddlesworth Produce Kent BBQ Box is equally well stocked to provide everything you need for a tasty dinner. Four 100% beef burgers, four Cumberland sausages, four chicken kebabs, four koftas, four burger buns and a mixed salad are included in the package. The BBQ box costs £27 for Pete’s Field Campers in 2019. Order either one of these (or both) and Katie will deliver them to Pete’s Field on the day of your camping trip ready for a campfire feast.
Local, sustainable and environmentally-friendly food
Paddlesworth Produce is the brainchild of Katie Anderson who operates her business from a site under a mile from Cole Farm. Her original idea was to sell free-range eggs and pork from her own smallholding by offering online ordering and home delivery. But the idea has expanded and she now sources free-range, farm-fresh produce from nine local farmers, three independent butchers, two artisan bakers and more than 15 other local businesses. Everything in the breakfast box is produced in Kent, it’s 100% free-range, 100% natural and 100% plastic-free. We think it’s brilliant and both the breakfast and barbecue boxes make an ideal partner to a camping trip – offering a true taste of Kent.

You can book a Kent Breakfast or BBQ Box at the same time as booking a pitch or a bell tent on our booking page. If you’ve already booked but would like to add an order, please be aware that orders must be placed 7 days ahead of the date you’d like it delivered.
