Bookings

Bookings can be made online, by telephone or by email. Full payment is required at the time of booking. Online booking is the quickest and simplest way to secure a booking. Telephone and email bookings require payment by bank transfer and are not confirmed until you have received a booking confirmation by email.

Cancellation and Refunds

For direct bookings made through this website or on the telephone, we ask for full payment at the time of booking to secure a pitch – 50% of this is a non-refundable deposit including a £15 administration fee. If your circumstances change and you cannot make your camping trip we are happy to refund the remaining 50% fee, if you let us know more than 14 days before your booking. To cancel your booking, please let us know as early as possible and confirm by email. Refunds will be made by bank transfer.
We will do everything we can to avoid changing or cancelling your booking after confirmation but in the event this is unavoidable we reserve the right to do so and would notify you as soon as possible. During 2021, if your trip has to be cancelled because of local or national restrictions, sickness or a period of necessary self-isolation related to Covid-19, you will receive a full refund less the £15 administration fee and any commissions. Please note there are no commissions paid on any bookings made via this website. If you made your booking through Cool Camping, please refer to the Terms and Conditions supplied with your booking confirmation.

Check-in is between 1pm and 7pm on your day of arrival for campers. For bell tent and cabin campers check in is between 2pm and 7pm. Departure is by 11am.

Campsite rules

By booking to stay at Pete’s Field, you agree to adhere to our Campsite Rules and become a temporary member of Pete’s Field Camping Club. Membership is free with any booking. We ask members to respect the environment and fellow members while at Pete’s Field Camping Club site(s) and in the surrounding community. Anyone who does not abide by the rules will be required to leave and have membership revoked.

No under 18s without supervision. We cannot accept bookings from or for under 18s without adult supervision and we expect children to be supervised at all times on Pete’s Field Camping Club sites.
Strictly no groups. We do not accept bookings for more than two tents together (with a maximum of four adults).
No dogs. Unfortunately, we cannot allow campers to bring dogs at Pete’s Field Camping Club sites: but please be aware that the campsite at Cole Farm is within a working farm with dogs, cows, horses and other animals. Please respect the animals.
Cars must be parked in the designated parking field and may not be driven in the camping field or parked next to tents. Cars are parked at the owners’ own risk.
Campfires are allowed in off-ground fire-pits or braziers. You can use ours (provided free with every pitch) or bring your own. In extremely dry or windy weather we reserve the right to prohibit campfires. Please follow our advice during your visit.
Collecting firewood from around the site is not allowed. Please leave the deadwood in our hedgerows for wildlife. You can buy seasoned firewood from us or bring your own.
No amplified music is allowed at any time. Acoustic instruments are permitted.
Keep quiet between 10pm and 8am. We have a strict no noise policy to ensure everyone gets a good night’s sleep.
Recycling and rubbish must be collected and put in the relevant bins provided. Please take time at the end of your stay to pick up any stray bits of rubbish around your pitch – including cigarette butts.
Keep it clean. Pitch campers, bell tent campers and cabin campers are asked to leave their pitches/tents/the cabin and the campsite facilities as they would like to find them. We reserve the right to make an additional charge if equipment is needlessly or carelessly damaged.
No smoking in tents or facilities. Please do not smoke in the bell tents, cabin, facilities or under awnings.
No naked flames in tents. Do not use gas cookers, heaters or naked flames at any time in the cabin, the bell tents or your own tents while at Pete’s Field.
No fireworks or Chinese lanterns are allowed.
Stay safe! We will do everything we can to make Pete’s Field safe for you and your family but it is a working farm so there are some hazards including uneven ground, farm animals and farm machinery. Please exercise caution and keep an eye on your children.
Follow the Countryside Code. Everyone staying on site is expected to follow the Countryside Code.

Above all please respect the environment, your neighbours on the campsite and in the surrounding community – including the farm.

Pete’s Field Camping and Pete’s Field Camping Club accept no liability for loss or damage to possessions and/or personal injury. By making a booking with us you accept full responsibility for your own property, your safety and the safety of those in your party including your children.
