Pete’s Field @ Cole Fest 2018

We’re pitching our bell tents at Cole Fest!

Before we launch Pete’s Field @ Cole Farm properly we will be popping up at the farm’s one-day music festival Cole Fest. Now in it’s fourth year, Cole Fest is a family-friendly event offering an eclectic mix of music from country to pop, American soul to rock. Camping on the farm is all part of the fun and this year we’ll be taking over a little corner of the festival field for our bell tents. Perfect for a family of four, but spacious enough for six, they will be set up with a double mattress on a futon base and fold-out beds for kids so you can be assured of a good night’s sleep after a great day of entertainment.

This year’s Cole Fest takes place on Saturday, July 28th and has music across three stages from more than 20 acts including Maidstone-based rock/punk/metal band One Day Elliott, alt-rock foursome Esther and Folkestone’s own reggae/dub/ska six-piece Jimmy and the Riddles. The festival field will also have a licensed bar, a kid’s corner and food stalls – all in the beautiful surroundings of the Kent countryside at Paddlesworth.

Booking tickets

The festival’s chosen charity this year is the wonderful Pilgrims Hospice and both festival tickets and bell tent bookings will include a donation. The best way to buy tickets for Cole Fest is online, in advance where they are £12 for the day and £16 with camping. Under 14s are free, but must be accompanied by a full-paying adult. Family tickets (two adults, two children) are £22 for the day and £27 with camping. Tickets are limited and prices will be higher on the day so advance booking is recommended. The festival starts at noon on the Saturday and campers can stay until 1pm on Sunday – choose a bell tent and you can start enjoying yourself straight away and relax until its time to go home as we’ll put the tent up for you and take it down at the end.

Booking bell tents

To stay in a Pete’s Field bell tent at Cole Fest is £100 and you must also have a valid festival ticket, with camping. The bell tent will be set up to sleep four people with a picnic bench, two camping chairs, a double bed and two fold-out single mattresses provided. Bedding is not provided so please bring your own sheets, pillows and duvets. Take a look at our Bell Tent page for more details but please note that fire pits and cooking equipment are not included with the hire at Cole Fest. We only have four bell tents available so it’ll be first come-first served! We know it’s boring but please take a peek at our Terms and Conditions – though you can ignore the bit about no amplified music on this occasion and I think the music may go on a bit later than 10pm!

Petes Field @ Cole Farm will be our pop-up campsite in the same location as the festival throughout August. Check out the rest of the website for more details.
