Pete’s Field campsite at Cole Farm – camping in the Kent countryside

Our pop-up campsite is open July 15th to September 4th in 2022!

We set up Pete’s Field campsite at Cole Farm for around six weeks of blissfully basic summer camping every year. We think it’s the perfect place to switch off and read a book, to listen to the birds and to cosy up around the campfire. We offer 20 pitches for people who have their own tents and four simply-furnished bell tents for people who don’t.

In 2022, the pop-up camping season opens from Friday July 15th to Sunday September 4th but, if you want to visit our site in countryside close to the coast at Folkestone, outside of those dates, how about booking Pete’s Field cabin? Our little camping cabin offers the chance to stay in a lovely rural setting during our pop-up campsite and outside of traditional camping season. It’s open from April 1st, through the camping season and until the end of October. A stay in our new bolthole in autumn or spring gives you the chance to have Pete’s Field all to yourself – apart from the cows of course.

Cole Farm is situated in Paddlesworth, in the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, between the seaside at Folkestone and historic Canterbury. There’s plenty of great walking nearby – including the well-signposted North Downs Way – and there are some lovely beaches within a short drive. It’s close to quirky local attractions including the Battle of Britain Museum, the Elham Valley Railway Museum and the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway with the world-famous attractions of Dover Castle and Canterbury Cathedral not far away either.
